After Sonam Kapoor's clumsy and spunky Khoobsurat avatar was much loved by all, it seems that Sonam is already planning to take it forward. A little birdie informs us that Sonam has been approached for the Indian remake of a Walt Disney film.
Sonam who starred in Khoobsurat, which was Disney's first production in India mesmerised studio officials in Los Angeles with her performance. The officials seemed to have loved her screen presence and has decided to remake The Princess Diaries with her essaying the lead role. The details are kept under wraps but an insider has already revealed the details to us.
Originally, the role was played by Anne Hathaway in the Hollywood version. But given that Sonam already has garnered huge appreciation internationally for her fashion sense, it would be nice to see her reprising Anne's role from 'The Princess Diaries'. No wonder during her Khoobsurat interviews, the bubbly actress kept chirping about the film.
