Emotional Vijay Deverakonda reacts to positive response to Kushi: ‘You all waited for 5 years for…’

Vijay Deverakonda and Samantha Ruth Prabhu’s romantic drama Kushi has finally hit the theatres. The movie opened to a positive response from the audience and reacting to it, the actor penned a heartfelt note. 

On Friday, Vijay Deverakonda took to his Twitter and while reacting to the positive response from the audience to his recent release Kushi, the actor wrote, “You all waited for 5 years, with me. Patiently waiting for me to do my thing! We did it. Today!! Waking up to this happiness from all around and my phone to hundreds of messages.”

He added, “I cannot help but tear up with emotions. I love you all. Go and enjoyyyyy this one with your friends and families. Because I know you will Emotional & #Kushi Your man, Vijay Deverakonda.” 

Kushi’s success is crucial for both Vijay Deverakonda and Samantha Ruth Prabhu as their last movies Liger and Shaakuntalam respectively failed miserably at the box office. Their chemistry Viplav (Vijay) and Aaradhya (Samantha) in the romantic entertainer is being loved by the audience.

Helmed by Shiva Nirvana, Kushi stars Vijay Deverakonda and Samantha Ruth Prabhu along with Sachin Khedekar, Murali Sharma, and Lakshmi among others. The movie revolves around the story of two lovers who go against the will of their families to marry each other to show their parents that love is enough for two people to stay together. However, later they get a reality check. 

Vijay Deverakonda and Samantha Ruth Prabhu-starrer Kushi have opened to a positive response from the audience. Fans can’t stop praising the actors for their performances in the movie. The movie is expected to collect Rs 12 crore on day 1.

Meanwhile, Vijay Deverakonda will be next seen in the movie Jana Gana Mana. The Telugu film helmed by Puri Jagannadh also stars Pooja Hegde and Janhvi Kapoor along with others in key roles.
