Ek Aur Dirty Picture: Vidya Balan talks about sharing screen with Naseeruddin Shah again in Begum Jaan!
The two are coming together one more time.. after The Dirty Picture and Ishqiya!
There have been several unconventional jodis in Bollywood in recent years. One of them is Vidya Balan and Naseeruddin Shah's unusual pairing. The two have starred together in two successful films - The Dirty Picture and Ishqiya. Now, they are coming back for the third time in Begum Jaan.
Ask Vidya about the same and she's visibly excited. "I am looking forward to work with Naseer saab. Naseer and me have worked in completely two different worlds in the ‘The Dirty Picture’ and ‘Ishqiya’ and this again is a diametrically opposite world. It’s always exciting and nerve-wrecking to work with him," she told us in a group interview.
Begum Jaan is the Hindi adaptation of Srijit Mukherjee's critically acclaimed National Award winning film Rajkahani. Vidya will essay the role of the brothel Madam but it's still not known what Naseer saab will play in the film.
