Never mind that the film that was in the cans for over a couple of years didn’t exactly set the BO ringing, but the kind of film offers that’ve been coming in since are enough to make her smile.

On home front, to make the day special, hubby Timmy Narang is apparently planning a surprise birthday bash for Eesha. A source reveals, “Eesha prefers quite intimate get-togethers instead of lavish parties, but with their huge friends’ circle, it’s impossible to keep the bash a small affair.” The last time around Timmy had gifted Eesha a swanky car, but there’s no guessing what he’s planning to gift Eesha this time around.

As for Eesha’s plans for the day, the source reveals that she is extremely spiritual and always visits certain temples on her birthday and this time around it won’t be any different. “She is thrilled with the positive response she has got for her role as a gangster and has that much more to thank for,” adds the source.

Ask Eesha about it and she says, “Yes, the role was challenging, but I’m glad that people have loved the performance. It was a huge risk to portray that kind of a role or the look for any actor, but I was convinced about it. Glam or de-glam didn’t matter.”

Happy to work at her own pace, Eesha adds that the criteria of choosing a film is still doing only something that she believes in. “No one can predict the outcome at the BO, but I’d rather take a risk for a role that I think is worth my time, than do it just because of commercial reasons. I’m happy to wait for the right kind of films to come my way. Shabri is a benchmark in my career and I only want to take it higher with the next film,” adds Eesha.
