Double dhamaka from Aindrita Ray

In the film industry, nothing sells more than a hit jodi. Aindrita Ray seems to be ready to try out that very formula, as she teams up with two heroes with whom she’s had her biggest hits so far. She will be teaming up with her Junglee hero Vijay for Shashank’s Jarasandha, while Diganth, who wooed her in Manasaare, will be her hero in the Kannada remake of Boss Engira Bhaskaran.

“I’m looking forward to these films as the audience have liked my pairing with both these heroes. I signed the films with that in mind, as well as the fact that I’ve good roles to play too,” says Aindrita, who is currently enjoying a little holiday away from the city before she begins work again.

“I had signed up for Shashank’s film quite some time ago. I knew he was keen on repeating the Junglee pairing and from his films, I’ve known that his female characters are quite strong. We should be starting with the shooting once Vijay is done with Johnny Mera Naam,” says Aindrita.

She’s all the more excited about her second film opposite Diganth.

“We make a good-looking on screen pair and even in an unconventional story like Manasaare, people liked us. This is why I chose to sign up for the remake of Boss Engira Bhaskaran, which was a great film and Nayanthara had a fun role. We have a fun young team doing this, but we will have good experience in the form of Mano Murthy, who was the man behind Manasaare’s music too,” says Aindrita.

The actor, who has ended 2010 on a high with her film Veera Parampare being declared a hit, says, “I am positive about the coming year. I know that the films I’ve signed are good. Let’s hope to continue the success that I’ve given my teams in these two years."
