Director Ratnaja set to make a comeback with 'Preethiyalli Sahaja'
Why did he select newcomers instead of established actors?
Director Ratnaja is set to make a comeback in Sandalwood after a gap of five years with his film Preethiyalli Sahaja. His last few films bombed sat the box office but the director is confident about his latest film.
Aksha Bhat and Surya are the lead pair in this romantic film, which was shot at in Kerala and Karnataka.
“I took a lot of time to select locations and the star cast. I also took time to write the script and screenplay. I am very happy with Preethiyalli Sahaja and 100% confident of its success at the box-office,’’ Ratnaja said.
Why did he select newcomers instead of established actors? “I prefer newcomers since it provides me the much-needed freedom. I select the artistes as per the script of the film,’’ Ratnaja explained.
Raviraj, an associate of music director Hamsalekha, makes his debut as music director with Preethiyalli Sahaja. The film is expected to release over the next few weeks.
