Director AL Vijay and Aishwarya blessed with baby boy

Director AL Vijay, who recently helmed Kangana Ranaut's 'Thalaivi', is blessed with a baby boy. He is married to Chennai-based Dr. R Aishwarya, who is now Aishwarya Vijay. Vijay's PRO confirmed the news on Twitter, and later actor Udhaya also shared the news.

"Yes..IAM A PERIYAPPA now..Brother Director VIJAY And AISHWARYA VIJAY blessed with baby boy at 11.25am ...Happppyyyyyyyy....Soooo happpy....@onlynikil," tweeted actor Udhaya.

Vijay and Dr. R Aishwarya's wedding was a close-knit one. They tied the knot in July 2019. The director had released a press statement which read, "I am happy to announce my marriage with Dr R Aishwarya and it is going to be a private ceremony which will be held in July 2019. With all your love and blessings, am embarking on a new chapter in my life!"

AL Vijay's 'Jayalalithaa' is a biopic on former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa. While Kangana Ranaut plays the chief role of 'Amma', Arvind Swami, Madhoo and Samuthirakani have also been roped in for pivotal roles in the movie.
