Dino Morea takes ill but where’s Nandita Mahtani?

With rumours flying thick about the actor’s impending wedding with the designer, one would expect designer Nandita Mahtani to be by actor Dino Morea’s side while he’s been hospitalised with abscess in the liver. Instead, the designer is apparently busy attending meetings at her office, say Dino’s pals.

On being asked about Morea’s health, Mahtani reacted, “I’m busy in a meeting, can you call me in half an hour?” According to a hospital source, she has not visited the hospital even once since Morea was taken ill last week.

“There is a restriction to the number of visitors for him. Besides, he, too, doesn’t want too many people visiting him at this point of time. Anything in the liver is a serious issue. We just hope that he returns home soon,” said brother Nicolo, who added that Morea is under complete bed rest.

Suspecting that the damage was caused by contaminated ice in a cola drink, Nicolo informs that, “Dino will be out of action for at least a month now.”

Dino later texted DNA from his hospital bed, saying, “I should be out today. I am dying to get out.” But we are still waiting to get an answer from Nandita on her plans to visit him in the hospital.
