Mohit Suri has directed Arjun Kapoor in his next film, Half Girlfriend, an adaptation of Chetan Bhagat’s novel, but few know that the director was always on the actor’s wish-list of top three directors and on his bucket list of dream directors when he started on his career.

When Aditya Chopra met Arjun to launch him for Ishaqzaade, the filmmaker asked him to name them and Mohit was among them. Arjun had even met Mohit when he decided he wanted to become an actor. Hence the actor was thrilled when Mohit approached him to play the role in HG, which is a romantic musical. 

Both bonded immediately and used to have lots of discussions about Arjun’s character and look, during the prep for the film. Arjun feels Mohit showcases romance very well and loved participating in those discussions. That is why Half Girlfriend, which releases on May 19 this year, is so special for Arjun.
