John was slated to have two performances in Las Vegas, that were originally set for May 18 and 19, but the singer has preponed both the gigs to May 6 and 16, leading to speculations that he might be attending the royal wedding.

"Due to a scheduling conflict, Elton John has rescheduled the Friday, May 18 and Saturday, May 19 performances of 'The Million Dollar Piano' at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace to Sunday, May 6 and Wednesday, May 16," a statement on his official website stated.

However, the "Rocket Man" singer has yet to confirm whether he will be attending the royal wedding.

John was friends with Harry's late mother, Princess Diana, and had sung "Candle in the Wind" at her funeral in 1997.

He had said that he would love to attend the royal wedding.

"I don't know. I haven't even been — no one's been asked. I'm playing in Vegas, so I don't know what's going to happen. It will be nice because I love him very dearly," John had told The Sun.
