Crime-based reality show Crime Patrol that had shot an episode based on the brutal Delhi gang-rape case is set to be aired on September 21, inform sources. The two-part special episode was to be aired in January but the Information and Broadcasting Ministry had asked the channel not to air it, keeping in mind the sensitivity of the case.
However, now that the verdict is out, sources say that they will go ahead and air it. The show has so far shown some popular cases like those of baby Falak, the Neeraj Grover murder as well as Mumbai’s eve-teasing case in which Reuben Fernandes and Keenan Santos were killed.
