Confirmed: Shah Rukh Khan and Alia Bhatt in Gauri Shinde's next
Red Chillies Entertainment, Dharma Productions and Hope Productions come together for their next film starring SRK and Alia, directed by Gauri Shinde.
For months now, there have been speculations about Gauri Shinde's next film. The director who gifted the industry with a wonderful English Vinglish has been planning for her next film for quite sometime now. But finally, Karan Johar has announced that Gauri's next film will star Shah Rukh Khan and Alia Bhatt as the leading actors.
Karan took to Twitter to make the official announcement.
Alia was in news to play Kriti's role in Dilwale but it didn't work out. Seems with Gauri's next, everything fell in place and it will be the first film that will star SRK and Alia together. Given that there's a considerable age gap between the two, we wonder what the story of the film will be all about and whether it will eventually be a romantic film with the two actors as leads.
Without revealing much, Alia too tweeted about the film.
While Karan has announced the film, nothing is known about the theme of Gauri's film yet.
