Confirmed: Music director Harris Jayaraj for Suriya's 'Singam 3'!

Well, it looks like it is now confirmed! Music director Harris Jayaraj has indeed been signed on for Suriya's Singam 3 with director Hari. After Anirudh opted out of the project, there was a lot of speculation as to who would bag this film.

Music director Devi Sri Prasad has scored the music for the first two arts of this successful franchise. He recently scored music for Vijay's film Puli as well. But the movie didn't do well and the music was also not really appreciated by the audience. So it could be one of the reasons why he wasn't considered for the project again.

There was talk that Harris Jayaraj, Thaman and Hip Hop Aadhi were on the list of the filmmakers. Hip hop Aadhi had a super year with Thani Oruvan as both the songs and BGM was applauded by critics and the audience. Thaman as everyone knows is a big name ion Telugu and has given some wonderful music to smaller films in Kollywood.

But Harris Jayaraj seems to have won the race as he signed the project which will kick off on December 21 in Vizag. It looks like Suriya was keen on getting Harris on board. Singam 3 stars Suriya with Shruti Haasan and Anushka Shetty. The movie will be a complete action-packed entertainer from Hari. 

Meanwhile, Harris Jayaraj's name is also being floated around for the Vikram-Nayanthara project at this point.
