Comedian Venu Madhav hospitalized after suffering from liver issues, kept on life support system

Comedian Venu Madhav has been hospitalized in Secunderabad for his critical condition. The actor known to have been suffering from kidney and liver issues was admitted to a corporate hospital on Tuesday, September 24 for a liver ailment.

While fans are already sharing death tributes, the actor lives but has been moved to Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and put on life support system as per latest reports. Some fans have also taken to their social media to wish him a speedy recovery. Some fans are hoping for an official confirmation concerned about the actor's health.

One Twitter user even announced his passing away. The tweet read, "Famous Tollywood Comedian Venu Madhav died few minutes ago in Yashoda Hospital, Hyderabad." Other fans have taken charge of debunking the rumours.

Earlier this week on Sunday, Venu was discharged after being advised to consider a liver transplant as soon as possible. Within two days his condition deteriorated and he was rushed back to the hospital. The actor has also been away from work and films due to his health issues.

Venu Madhav has been part of over 170 Telugu films along with a couple more Tamil releases. He first started his career as a mimicry artist and soon found his forte as a comedian in movies. Madhav made his debut in 1996 with 'Sampradayam' and was last seen in 2016's release Dr. Paramanandaiah’s 'Students Gang'. Born in Kodad of Suryapet district, last year in December he also expressed interest in contesting the assembly elections and filed for nominations.
