Ram Charan along with his dad, South star Chiranjeevi is working towards raising funds to help the flood victims in Uttarakhand. The father-son duo has also roped in several other South actors to raise money that will go towards the Prime Minister’s Relief Fund. They will hand over the moolah to the officials in Uttarakhand this Sunday. Says an insider, “It was Chiranjeevi sir’s brainchild.
He wanted to support the flood victims in some way.” Making an appeal, Ram Charan says, “Nature’s fury has taken its toll on countless lives in Uttarakhand and its surrounding areas. What has happened was not in our hands, and for what it is, we must join hands and stand united to lend our full support to all the people in need. I urge all of you to help our brothers and sisters in the affected areas of Uttarakhand and request you to contribute as much as you can in your capacity.”
In Bollywood, Shatrughan Sinha is the only one who donated Rs 50 lakhs for the victims. The others have donated tweets and prayers.
