Chef Chin in a Bollywood flick with Arshad Warsi?
Chin joked around with the actor that he wanted to debut in a Bollywood film and even said that he would love to do the hot scenes and cook Chinese food for Arshad in return.
Arshad Warsi caught up with chef, restaurateur, author and TV host of World Café, Bobby Chin, at the Kare Yoga & Ayurveda health Retreat’s detox centre near Pune.
Chin joked around with the actor that he wanted to debut in a Bollywood film and even said that he would love to do the hot scenes and cook Chinese food for Arshad in return. Arshad laughs, “I met Bobby at the retreat. I go there once in a year for 14 days to clean out my insides. He is a funny, sweet guy with a great sense of humour and we got along very well.
When we met he wasn’t very familiar with Bollywood and I told him that I was a big fan of his. Others at the retreat recognised me and then Bobby asked me who I was. That’s how the whole thing started and he said, ‘Take me in your film. I want to do movies.’ But I don’t think he is interested in doing a film.
It’s a lovely place where we eat vegetarian food, do yoga, and go for hiking on the mountain. I lost six kg there. Bobby and I felt like kids in a school as our yoga teacher would keep telling us, ‘Can you both stop talking?’
