Celebrities getting replicated in wax to be remembered for generations to come is nothing new. A number of Bollywood celebrities have their wax statues at the Madame Tussauds Museum in London, including Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Madhuri Dixit, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and others. Bachchan and Shah Rukh even have statues of themselves at the Madame Tussauds Museum in Singapore. Now, one more B-Town actor has joined their ranks, and it is none other than Anil Kapoor!

Kapoor took to Twitter this morning to announce the unveiling of his wax figurine. "And we are off again! #Singapore !! Something very exciting is waiting for us here! Stay tuned for more updates!" he tweeted.

Kapoor then shared pictures of his wax statue unveiled at the museum.

The statue has an amazing resemblance to the actor, showing him sitting in one of his most well known poses from the movie Slumdog Millionaire

The actor couldn't resist getting up close and personal with the figurine and seeing if he could look as good as it. The actor came dressed in a steel grey suit and tie, looking pretty much exactly like his statue. Kapoor then also took pictures with his fans and his team at the venue. The actor had a blast at the unveiling and was grateful for the honour.

The actor just finished filming for his movie Mubarakan with Arjun Kapoor, which will be released in theatres on July 28, 2017.
