The entire 'Finding Fanny' team had expressed their disgust over the deletion of the word 'virgin' from their film in order to get a U/A certificate. Deepika Padukone even went on record, asking the Censor Board to be consistent. and now, it seems Censor board has understood that it was a mistake on their part and they have decided to rectify it.

The board had initially expressed discomfort with the line from the film which has the word 'virgin'. While the film's director and its cast went on to bring out multiple films where the word has been used, The CBFC chairperson Leela Samson admitted that it was their mistake and that the scene would not require any cut anymore.

Leela Samson said she was not aware of it until the makers approached her. Finding their request justified, Leela has decided to make the changes. The film releases on September 12 and stars Deepika Padukone, Arjun Kapoor, Dimple Kapadia, Naseeruddin Shah and Pankaj Kapur.
