Brad Pitt to star in romantic thriller directed by Robert Zemeckis

Director Robert Zemeckis has boarded an untitled romantic thriller, starring Brad Pitt.

The epic love story by Paramount and New Regency is reportedly set during World War II. Steven Knight has written the script for the new movie, according to the Hollywood Reporter.

Zemeckis last directed 2012's Flight, starring Denzel Washington, which was a critical and commercial success for Paramount and went on to win two Oscar nominations.

Zemeckis is currently in post production work on The Walk, starring Joseph Gordon-Levitt.
