With Tubelight, the situation might be a little different. Salman's film released three days prior to Eid so obviously, a section of his fans haven't really watched the film today because of the festival. The film will put up just about a decent total at the box office on Day 1.

The film released across 4400 screens which is the widest Hindi film release this year. But the first day occupancy ranges at around 35-40% across India which is extremely average. But the point of consideration has to be that Tubelight isn't like other Salman starrers where he's playing a larger than life character.

Early estimates of day 1 figures will come around evening.
