English rock band Black Sabbath, who are on their farewell tour, appropriately titled 'The End' have now announced its final leg.

Ozzy Osbourne, Tony Iommi and Geezer Butler will play their last shows in their native UK with two final gigs in their hometown of Birmingham, reported Digital Spy.

"It started nearly five decades ago with a crack of thunder, a distant bell ringing and then that monstrous riff that shook the earth. The heaviest rock sound ever heard. Now it ENDS, the final eight shows EVER by the greatest Metal Band of all time, BLACK SABBATH.''

"Ozzy Osbourne, Tony Iommi and Geezer Butler return home to close the final chapter in the final volume of the incredible BLACK SABBATH story," a statement read.

Black Sabbath formed in 1968 and have released 19 studio albums, their last being 2013's '13'
