Actor-turned-director Jodie Foster is set to direct an episode of Charlie Brooker's series Black Mirror.

The two-time Oscar winner will get behind the camera for an episode of the satirical dystopian series for an episode that will be released in 2017, reported Deadline.

The episode will also feature former Mad Men actress Rosemarie DeWitt.

Foster, 53, who rocketed to fame with her controversial role in the seventies in classic movie Taxi Driver, started her career in directing back in 1991 with Little Man Tate, and has intensified her work behind the camera by directing The Beaver and Money Monster since 2011, as well as episodes of Orange Is the New Black and House of Cards.
