Benedict Cumberbatch begins rehearsals for 'Hamlet'
It will be the Oscar-nominated actor's first stage role since Frankenstein at the National Theatre in 2011
Hollywood superstar Benedict Cumberbatch has returned to work just days after his wife Sophie Hunter gave birth to a baby boy.
Cumberbatch, 38, has begun rehearsing for his role as Hamlet in a new production at the Barbican in London, reported Metro.
The show will run from August to October.
It will be the Oscar-nominated actor's first stage role since Frankenstein at the National Theatre in 2011.
The Sherlock star tied the knot with Hunter in a private ceremony in February. The couple welcomed their first child last week.
