Before you overreact, watch what Salman Khan actually said about the ban on Pakistani artists!

We live in a really weird and strange time. Why? We slam a superstar for not taking a stand regarding a burning national issue and once they do, we lambast them for putting across their opinions. After the surgical strikes were carried on Pakistan by the Indian army, post the Uri attack, many Bollywood actors came forward and put their opinion on the same.

Salman Khan was launching the jewellery line of his charity brand in Delhi when the obvious question was asked. When asked about the the entire issue, Salman opened up and said, "The IDEAL situation should have been of peace and amity between two nations. In this age, if we lived together amicably, it would have better for everybody, especially for the common man. Now this has happened. So there is always a reaction to an action. They were terrorists so it was the proper action."

When asked about the fraternity's decision to ban Pakistani actors from India, the superstar said that 'they are artists, not terrorists.' "Do you think that these artists are terrorists? They come here after applying for a proper visa. Who gives them the visa and the work permit? Our government does."

This statement has again created another unnecessary controversy. Salman who reasoned his statement really well this time does not deserve the kind of backlash he's possibly receiving right now. And after watching the video below and reading and understand his intentions behind the statement, we want to know what you think of the situation too. 

Is the attack on Salman justified? He never said anything against India or for Pakistan. He curbed terrorism and even hailed the Surgical Strike. And whoever is trying to blow the thing out of proportion, we would ask them to watch the video first before over reacting.
