Actor Shah Rukh Khan, while tweeting about the latest poster of his upcoming superhero film, said that a ‘rat has beaten him to it’. Rat we don’t know, but bat it could well be, of the flying kind — the poster of the film bears an uncanny resemblance to the poster of Christopher Nolan’s Batman Begins that stars Hollywood actors Christian Bale and Katie Holmes.
“The poster is definitely an inspiration. You will see Shah Rukh carrying Kareena the same way, Christian Bale was seen carrying Katie Holmes on the poster. They had kept this in mind, while creating the poster,” says a source, who’s also part of the film’s team.
In both the cases, the superheroes’ love interests apparently get caught between the fight of the good and the evil, and almost end up dying. “In the film’s sequence, Kareena gets caught between the superhero and main villain and almost gets killed, but gets rescued in the end. SRK will be seen emerging from the fight carrying Kareena. It is one of the best sci-fi highlights in the movie,” the source explained.
