The never-dying trend works best for summer too. With several ways to plait it, you can sport the look with a casual kurta or even with a dress. Beauty queen Manasvi Mamgai says, “To start with, I love long hair and love sporting the braided look. Be it for casuals or ethnic wear, they make a cool style statement. It is also considered to be one of the old hairdos that will never go out of fashion.”Model Niharika Nag also points out, “One can’t afford to let their hair down during the summer. Instead of going for the usual ponytail, women can opt for the braided look. As a matter of fact, you can braid them along with your ponytail as well. This trendy look is sure to make you look cool.” The braided look happens to be a favourite with model Faith Pandey too. “I’ve seen several Hollywood celebrities sporting the look. Considering the fact that this look is quite old in our country, the braided look is not just sported when you wear ethnic outfits, but with casuals as well. This hairdo is really comfortable,” she informs. Stylist Gauri Kapur who has styled several celebrities in different hairdos says, “I think braiding your hair in a versatile way is the key to look stylish. Instead of braiding them in the usual style, get creative and play with your hair. For instance, braiding your hair to one side looks cool. However, to pull off a stylish look, it depends on how you braid it.”
