'Bajrangi Bhaijaan' teaser: Salman Khan is more Being Human than Dabangg and here's why we love it!

Remember Salman Khan's last Eid release- Kick? If you do, you would also remember how the film ended! Yes, Salman's Being Human side was in full show as the makers categorically gave a very humanistic reasoning to his character turning a Devil and looting the money. If that was just a teaser, Bajrangi Bhaijaan is a full blown film, made to accentuate the actor's kind and benevolent nature on the big screen.

Usually, every Salman Khan film is filled with the regular dose of maara-maari and dhaasu dialogues. Bajrangi Bhaijaan is different and how! Kabir Khan, who's known to look at cinema differently spells magic as he makes a Salman Khan film, and presents it in a manner that no one would risk to- sans the dollops of action sequences that might as well be an integral part of the plot. Salman who's known for his action manoeuvres, dialoguebaazi and his shirtless avatars will be shown in a different light altogether. And the one and half minute teaser totally testifies the statement.

Don't believe us? Here's how the BB teaser is so unlike other Salman Khan trailers or teasers:

No ACTION!

Can you imagine a Salman Khan masala entertainer without any action? NO! The actor is synonymous with action and while this might be the reason for the teaser receiving mixed reviews, Kabir Khan pulls the strings and keeps his heart at the right place. He decides to take the route less travelled with the teaser and makes it a rather crisp, smartly cut 1.5 minuter which not only gives us an insight of the story but also keeps us waiting for more. After all, when you have the trailer, why show everything in the teaser? Smart, right?

No DIALOGUEBAAZI!

From a person who mouths 'Swagat nahi karoge aap humara?' to 'Main toh aapne aap ki bhi nahi sunta', to a good hearted Bajrangi who is confused when he is questioned how his Bajrang Bali will help him in Pakistan, Salman has come a long way and rightly so. It's not that Salman cannot do justice to content oriented films anymore. Courtesy his last few blockbusters, the audience's perception has been created in a manner, that they expect Salman to do a shirtless scene or maaro a dhaasu one-liner. That's possibly one major reason why many find the BB teaser 'under whelming'. While this too may offend a lot of his fans, we love how Kabir has made it sweet and simple, concentrating more on emotions than the power and words! 

FOCUS divided!

No, we aren't saying that the focus from Salman has been shifted. it will always be a Salman Khan film indeed. But unarguably so, the makers have consciously put more focus on the little girl who forms the most pivotal part of the story. "A Little Girl From Pakistan. Lost In India. Without Her Voice. Finds A Man With A Heart. To Take Her Home"- the opening credits hammer the plotline so beautifully. And it's as much a Salman film as it's a film for the little girl who will undoubtedly be one of the best finds in Bollywood. Given that she cannot speak, the little girl lets her eyes do all the talking and she nails it completely. She is as cute as she is beautiful and her scenes melt your heart. The audience connect. Done. And you have a winner!

The teaser might have been under whelming for a particular section of audiences- who were expecting the same staple Salman Khan fight sequences and catchy one liners. But it has definitely touched a million hearts worldwide, given the huge emotional content in the film. But it's just the teaser and as Bhaijaan's bhai Shah Rukh Rukh says, "Picture abhi baaki hai mere dost!" 

The BB trailer will also be unveiled in a few days and the teaser has set the stage for the grand unveiling of the theatrical trailer. Now there's just one question - will the trailer have all the trademark Salman Khan elements in it? Let's just wait and watch!
