Bad news for Kahaani 2: Box office opening for the film is terrible!

Vidya Balan's Kahaani 2 has just released and the film has had a much limited release, following on the lines of a Dear Zindagi. While demonetization is mostly not going to affect a film like this, the results for Kahaani 2 at the box office has not been great.
The film has opened to a morning show occupancy of around 15-20% around the country. With 900 screens all over India, the film's day 1 total is anything but impressive. Given that it's a sequel to a successful franchise film, this comes as a rude shock.
The film will mostly pick up in the evening shows as the word of mouth is mixed, tilting towards the positive side largely. But as of now, the BO performance needs to be seen over the next few days!
