Avantika Hundal to replace Mihika Verma in Yeh Hai Mohabbatein

Actress Avantika Hundal has been roped in to play the role of Mihika in Yeh Hai Mohabbatein after actress Mihika Verma put in her papers. Earlier, Sonal Parihar was roped in to play the part but she was replaced because the producers felt the former didn’t fit the bill.
"Yes, I am the new Mihika. I was busy doing Punjabi films. I wanted to take up something on TV and this one piqued my interest among other offers," she told The Times Of India.
Avantika maybe joining post a time-leap but she won't age dramatically: "I wouldn't know much about the upcoming track as I am yet to be briefed. All I can say is that I won't be sporting grey hair to look older and won't be playing a mother. I will also be watching a few episodes to understand the character.”
