Following the attack on filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali last week, the entire entertainment industry has been shaken up. Bhansali was assaulting for apparently altering facts in the historically inspired film, Padmavati.

This event caused the makers of a TV serial Maharaja Ranjit Singh to stop their shooting briefly too. Shaleen Bhanot who plays am important role in the serial was upset to learn that they didn't have permission to shoot in the palace as the authorities were worried the protestors might show up on their sets too.

As a result the producers and the team took the day off. Shaleen told a publication, "What happened on the sets of Padmavati has shaken us all and these are just precautionary measures. It's sad when such things happen. We have lost out on a day of shoot. I hope and pray the situation settles down soon."

The crew resumed work a day and a half later.
