Actor Arun Vijay, who won a lot of acclaim for his negative role in the Ajith-starrer Yennai Arindhal, is set to enter the Kannada film industry with the film Chakravyuha. The film also stars Puneeth Rajkumar and Rachita Ram and will be directed by M Saravanan

He's been in top form having recently shot for 36 hours for his home production In Cinema Entertainment 's film which is being directed by Arivazhagan.

The actor loves to perform his own stunts in all his movies. Chakravyuha will be an action-packed flick. "I've been following the Sandalwood industry for a long time, but I was waiting for the right role and production team to make my debut here. I did get offers before from other regions, but this was a role in which I could prove my versatility," said Arun Vijay.

Chakravyuha is loosely based on the 2013 Tamil film Ivan Veramathiri and sees Arun play a negative yet again. He had to put in a lot since the character was tough and a lot of action was involved. Shooting for the film apparently him feel like he was working on three films!

Arun also talked about the bond with actor Puneeth Rajkumar. "Puneeth sir and I have a lot of mutual respect for each other. We were able to establish a good working relationship because we both hail from film backgrounds. Even during the stunt sequences, which require a lot of understanding and coordination, we were able to pull them off quite comfortably and complemented each other." In the film, both the hero and villain’s character travel a parallel path.

Arun Vijay feels that Sandalwood is no less than any industry. "Kannada films are competing with other regional languages very strongly I would say and Chakravyuha will stand testimony to this. There were no barriers and budget constraints. It was a quality film by any standard," said Arun.
