Arijit Singh's soulful recreation of 'Aaj Jane Ki Zid Na Karo' will beat your Monday blues

Remember the 1993 classic song 'Aaj Jane Ki Zid Na Karo' crooned by Farida Khanum? The song has won the hearts of millions across the globe. Every thing about the song, from the lyrics, to the music is spot on. We can't imagine it being sung in any other way as the original.

In the year 2005 Asha Bhosle had crooned the song, adding her own flavour to it and we liked her version as well. The latest to join the line of the ones who've recreated the original one is Arijit Singh.

Arijit has lent his voice to another version of the song for an upcoming TV show called Naamkarann. He was roped in by Mahesh Bhatt for this song and we can't thank him enough for it as Arijit has spelled magic with his soulful voice in this version of the song. 

Till now, we've been hearing the song in a female voice, be it Farida Khanum's version or Asha Bhosle's but thanks to Arijit's enchanting voice, now we know that the song sounds equally amazing in male voice as well. This song will surely beat all your Monday blues.
