Bollywood auteur Anurag Kashyap has taken to his social media page to confess that he regrets missing the opportunity to be a part of Aaranya Kaandam director Thiagarajan Kumararaja's Super Deluxe. Apparently, Kashyap was asked by Kumararaja to write one of the stories for the film, which is also produced by him. Starring Vijay Sethupathi, Fahadh Faasil, Samantha Akkineni, Mysskin, Ramya Krishnan and others, Super Deluxe has music composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja and is set for worldwide release on March 29.

Anurag Kashyap is a self-confessed fan of Thiagarajan Kumararaj's maiden directorial venture Aaranya Kaandam and had showered lavish praise in the past. Now, Super Deluxe has been written by Mysskin, Kumararajan, Neelan Shekar and Nalan Kumarasamy together. Today, Kashyap shared the film's trailer on his Twitter page and rued missing the opportunity to join hands with Kumararaja. 

The Gangs of Wasseypur filmmaker is one of the passionate cinephiles of South Indian movies. In fact, he had thanked directors Bala, Ameer, and Sasikumar as the Madurai Triumvirate in the title credits of his gangster epic Gangs of Wasseypur. 

YNOTX, the marketing and distribution wing of YNOT Studios, best known for producing super-hit films such as Vikram Vedha, Tamizh Padam 2, will be distributing Super Deluxe on March 29.
