Amitabh Bachchan hits 10-million mark on Twitter
Superstar Amitabh Bachchan becomes the most-followed Bollywood star on the microblogging website
At 15-odd million likes, he may be second only to Salman Khan (19-odd million) on Facebook, but it is Amitabh Bachchan (@SrBachchan) who reigns supreme over the Twitterverse, at least as far as Bollywood celebrities are concerned.
The actively online superstar recently reached the 10-million milestone on the microblogging site, leaving Shah Rukh Khan behind at a distant 8.74 million. Salman comes third at 7.99 million, Priyanka Chopra fourth (6.8mn) and Hrithik fifth (6.33mn).
The actor joined Twitter in May 2010, has put out 33,200 tweets since, and constantly puts out updates, along with retweets of the stuff he likes and even posts pictures almost every day.
