Amitabh Bachchan as Daddy Dutt?

With the Sanjay Dutt biopic well on its way to becoming a reality (with Ranbir Kapoor playing the actor), the rest of the cast is being considered in right earnest.Insiders believe that both director Raj Kumar Hirani and Sanjay are keen that the Big B play his father, Sunil Dutt.Says a friend of the Dutts, "Sanju has always been very close to the entire Bachchan family. He considers Abhishek his younger brother and Bachchan Saab a father figure. When the casting of Sanju's father was being considered, the Big B was the unanimous decision."Hirani has had the singular honour of working with Dutt Sr in Munnabhai MBBS. This happened to be his last screen appearance.Says Sanjay's friend, "Raju Hirani has the highest regard for Dutt Saab. He feels no actor can portray his integrity, dignity and warm persona better than Mr Bachchan. Also the fact that Raju has never worked with Bachchan Saab is another big incentive."Ranbir as Sanju Baba and Big B potentially as Sunil Dutt? Things couldn't get more interesting for this biopic!
