And the man hasn’t looked back ever since! The Indian film composer who is also a singer and lyricist will be hitting the charts in February, with Kai Po Che. Trivedi became a phenomenon in the Hindi film music scene with his critically acclaimed work in Dev D which earned him several accolades.

The composer lent his voice last to a song in Kashyap’s film Gangs of Wasseypur, will be heard in Abhishek Kapoor’s Kai Po Che. The film, adapted from Chetan Bhagat’s bestseller, 3 Mistakes Of My Life stars popular TV actor Sushant Singh Rajput alongside Amit Sadh, Rajkumar Yadav and Amrita Puri.

Filmmaker Abhishek Kapoor says, "Yes, Amit Trivedi is singing in my film. He has sung two songs titled Manjha and Meethi Boliyaan. The texture of his voice suited the film tremendously and the songs are sounding brilliant. We can’t wait for the music launch that is being planned by UTV Motion Pictures. The songs are soulful and meaningful and it takes the communication of the film forward."
