Ambitious Elizabeth Hurley's life 'a family business'

Ambitious Elizabeth Hurley has turned to her older sister, Katie, for help after the successive departures of her three female assistants this year.

Hurley persuaded Katie, a former literary agent, to step in when her last factotum left in June and is believed to have since taken her on full time.

She has already employed her younger brother, Michael, a former engineer, who runs her organic farm in Gloucestershire.

The staffing "crisis" sparked when Lucy George, Hurley's spokesperson and assistant, stepped down earlier this year.

"She's constantly working on so many different projects, she expects her staff to juggle everything," the Daily Mail quoted a friend of Liz as saying.

"It can be such a demanding job," the pal added.
