Alone released in a limited number of screens and clashed with three other releases of the week- Zayed Khan's Sharafat Gayi Tel Lene, Crazy Kukkad Family and Vikram's I. While the first two had disastrous openings at the box office, it was only Vikram's I that could have still given Alone a run for its money.

But the hi-tech film could not live up to its expectations and did not make quite an impact in most places except South. Alone, on the other hand managed a decent business in the range of Rs 14 crore in the first three days itself. Made on a comparatively lower budget, the film will have another few days to bring in few more crores and trod into the hit space.

Alone has another 4 days to bring in as much moolah it can because with Sonam Kapoor's Dolly Ki Doli and Akshay Kumar's Baby hitting the screens together on January 23, Alone will face another screen crunch and stiff competition from the two films is expected. But the collections by far should make Bips happy, given that her last three films were total washouts.
