'Ala Vaikuntapurramloo' star Allu Arjun announced that he would donate a sum of Rs 1.25 crore to Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Kerala Chief Minister 's Relief Fund to combat COVID-19. In the same video, Allu also informed the importance of social distancing and why it is important to stay indoors.

"The COVID-19 pandemic has disrupted many lives. In these difficult times with humility, I would like to donate One Crore twenty five lakhs to the People of Andhra Pradesh, Telangana & Kerala. I am hopeful together we will fight & end this pandemic soon . #stayhome (sic)," he wrote alongside the video.

Soon after Allu posted a video, an image of him shopping in Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad, went viral. On the work front, the actor will reportedly work in Sukumar's next with Rashmika Mandanna in the lead role with Vijay Sethupathi as the antagonist.
