Alia Bhatt and Sidharth Malhotra: From real life couple to siblings in Shakun Batra's next film?
This is the first time that a couple in a relationship will play siblings on-screen
It's out. Though no one is talking about it officially here is andar ki baat. Karan Johar's Dharma Production is all set to start a huge multi-starrer in June titled Kapoor & Sons. To be directed by Shakun Batra, the film will feature Rishi Kapoor as a grand old 90-year old patriarch of a dysfunctional family.Says a source, "Rishi plays the grandfather. Sidharth Mahotra, Alia Bhatt and Fawad Khan play Rishi's grandchildren. The very important roles of Rishi's son and daughter-in-law are yet to be cast."
Shakun,who earlier did the Kareena Kapoor-Imran Khan film Ekk Main Aur Ekk Tu has been dying to work with Alia ever since they did the hit internet film Alia: Genius Of The Year. Interestingly, Alia and Siddharth who are romantically involved would be playing siblings in Batra's film.
