The "Britain's Got Talent" judge has signed a deal with Scholastic to write two books about Aurora Beam, a young girl blessed with special powers.

Alesha also took to Instgram to announce her stint as an author.

"Delighted to be working with @scholasticinc @scholastic_uk #aurora #aurorabeam #superhero," wrote the 38-year-old songstress, along side a picture of "Daily News" paper.

According to BBC, Alesha said she wanted to "create a strong female character who young girls and boys can hopefully be inspired by and look up to".
