Tamil superstar Ajith Kumar’s racing team has secured the third place in the Dubai 24H 2025 race on Sunday. Held annually at the Dubai Autodrome, the racing event features high-performance GT and touring cars competing in a gruelling 24-hour format that tests speed, strategy and endurance. The 53-year-old actor, who launched his racing team Ajith Kumar Racing in September last year, participated in the event alongside teammates Mathieu Detry, Fabian Duffieux, and Cameron McLeod.
The actor's win was lauded by fans and his celebrity friends alike. R Madhavan, who was present at the venue, took to his Instagram to share his excitement. The 3 Idiots actor posted a picture of Ajith waving the Indian flag and wrote, "What a man...as he says 'DREAMS DO COME TRUE'...an incredible real HERO." Madhavan also shared a behind-the-scenes glimpse of the moment Ajith celebrated his win with fans and fellow racers, calling it a proud moment for India.
Naga Chaitanya, who is known for his love of racing, congratulated Ajith on his journey and win as he posted on X, "Ajith sir!! What a journey what a win! A big cheers and congratulations for making us proud." Sivakarthikeyan also took to his X account and praised Ajith’s determination. “Big congratulations to you, AK sir, for your perseverance. Proud moment, sir."
Meanwhile, on the work front, Ajith is awaiting the release of Vidaamuyarchi and Good Bad Ugly. While the former was slated to release on Pongal, its release has been postponed. As per reports, Vidaamuyarchi might hit theatres on January 23 now. The release date of Good Bad Ugly was recently announced as April 10. Both the movies are action thrillers and feature Trisha Krishnan as the leading lady.
