Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is all set to mesmerise her fans once again in Mani Ratnam's much-awaited Tamil-language historical drama 'Ponniyin Selvan', the first part of which will release in 2022. Based on Kalki Krishnamurthy's 1955 novel 'Ponniyin Selvan', the film has an ensemble cast of actors like Vikram Karthi, Trisha Krishnan, Prakash Raj, Jayaram, Jayam Ravi and Aishwarya Lekshmi among others.
Recently, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan shared the poster of the upcoming magnum opus and had her fans intrigued. "The Golden Era comes to Life. Mani Ratnam's Ponniyin Selvan PS1," she captioned the post.
And now, Aishwarya's selfies with her co-star Raaghavan Murugan are breaking the internet.
On Tuesday, Raaghavan shared a few selfies he clicked with the former beauty queen on his unverified Instagram handle and wrote alongside it, "With Aishwarya Rai Bachchan Ma'am at the break of Ponniyin Selvan shoot and that was a great experience acting with her." He added the hashtag #ps1.

For the unversed, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Aishwarya Lekshmi resumed shooting for the film in Pondicherry nearly four months after the shooting was halted due to COVID.
While sharing photos with Aishwarya and Abhishek, Varalaxmi wrote, "Met 3 of the warmest and most humble people last night.. none other than the gorgeous @aishwaryaraibachchan_arb the handsome hunk @bachchan and their sweetest daughter #aaradhyabachchan Despite the families and lineage that they hail from, their humility and warmth was so amazing, I was just overwhelmed with their love.!!! It was so sweet of you to meet us and spend time with us.. may god shower all his blessings on your family.!!! (sic)."
Thanking her dad, Varalaxmi wrote, "Thank you daddy for making this happen @r_sarath_kumar. I think @poojasarathkumar is still recovering from the shock.!!! Hahah #fangirl (sic)."
