The actor will be next seen in Freaky Ali that revolves around the sport of golf. He plays a romantic hero in the film. Nawaz will also be seen in Raees with Shah Rukh Khan. Nawaz plays a tough cop behind SRK who plays a bootlegger.
Nawaz who has done a biopic Manjhi - The Mountain Man wants to attempt a historical next, a character like Dilip Kumar's Salim in Mughal-e-Azam. "It is one of my dream roles," he is quoted saying.
