After 'Drishyam 2', superstar Mohanlal and director Jeethu Joseph come together for '12th Man', see poster

On Monday, Malayalam superstar Mohanlal shared an Instagram post announcing his upcoming project '12th Man'. The superstar will be reuniting with director Jeethu Joseph, who also helmed his last film 'Drishyam 2'.

The 61-year-old star took to Instagram and shared a poster of the upcoming thriller. "Happy to announce my upcoming movie '12th Man' with #JeethuJoseph, produced by @antonypbvr under the banner @aashirvadcine," Mohanlal tweeted.

As per Mohanlal's caption, '12th Man' will be bankrolled by Antony Perumbavoor, who produced 'Drishyam' and its sequel, under the banner of Aashirvad Cinemas.

For the uninitiated, Mohanlal and Joseph first came together in 2013 for the Malayalam thriller 'Drishyam' which went on to become a blockbuster hit. The duo reunited for the film's sequel earlier this year.

Apart from '12th Man', Mohanlal and Joseph also have the action thriller 'Ram'. However, there is no clarity as to when will it go on the floors. Last year, Joseph had denied abandoning the film and stated that the shoot was halted due to the coronavirus pandemic.
