Images from Vanitha Vijaykumar's engagement, wedding and reception with Peter Paul have been going viral
Actress Vanitha Vijaykumar, who was also part of the third season of 'Bigg Boss Tamil' tied the knot with her boyfriend Peter Paul in Chennai on Saturday. The actress got married in a Christian wedding and was seen in a white gown, while Peter donned a black suit.
Vanita and Vijay got married in the presence of close friends and family. Nearly 20 people were present during the ceremony owing to the current COVID-19 lockdown situation in the country.
Pictures from their intimate wedding have been making rounds of the internet. Vanitha's daughters were seen as bridesmaids in icy blue gowns. The images were from cake-cutting ceremony, engagement, and the wedding.

Vanitha had made news of her wedding official on Instagram and her YouTube channel a few days back. In her letter, she mentioned being speechless when Peter asked for her hand in marriage. After telling him that her children need to approve, she recalled Peter's meeting with her children. "Tears welled my eyes when my daughter said that is the best thing that has happened to me," said Vanitha in the letter.
Talking about her tough life as a single mother with no family support, she informed people that Peter Paul is a filmmaker who 'stole her heart and made her fall head-over-heels in love.' Also revealing details about the wedding, Vanitha had stated, "The wedding is very low-key, private event with only close friends and family according to government rules and norms. We will release wedding pictures and video for all my fans, well-wishers and media soon after the wedding."

Vanitha was previously married to TV actor Akash. They got a divorce in 2007 and she then got married to businessman Anand Jay Rajan. They got divorced and Vanitha has been taking care of their two daughters ever since. She is also the daughter of Tamil actor Vijaykumar.
