BTS is also known as 'Bangtan Boys; are widely popular for their amazing songs, style, hair colour, etc. They are the most popular K-pop band in the world including India and have fans who are also called 'ARMY' across all age groups.
Adding to the list of fans, recently actor Pankaj Tripathi revealed in an interview with a leading daily that his daughter is also a huge fan of K-pop singers and K-dramas. He said, "These days, she is only into BTS and Korean actors; Hindustan mein uska kaha mann hai."
He further added that his wife also loves K-dramas. "She also watches Korean shows with my daughter now." He went on to talk about how his daughter wants to visit South Korea in the near future to meet K-pop singers and K-drama actors. "My wife and daughter want to go to Korea to meet those K-drama actors and K-pop singers. I don’t know why but they are very famous. I tell them both that they are heroes of a smaller country; we are the heroes of a bigger country, they should focus on us," he said.
It's not only Pankaj Tripathi's wife and daughter but many other Bollywood and Hollywood celebrities that are huge fans of the septet like Disha Patani, Alia Bhatt, Justin Beiber, Charlie Puth, Halsey and the list goes on.
Despite their huge fan base, BTS has not been able to visit India yet. Their 2020 world tour was cancelled due to the pandemic but they have promised ARMY that once the pandemic is over they'll surely visit. Last year, the group said that they would travel to India once the pandemic is over. For the unversed, the septet consists of - RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V and Jungkook.
On the work front of Pankaj Tripathi, he was last seen with Kriti Sanon in the film 'Mimi' which was released on an OTT platform.
