'Helped people with assistance for final rites': Actor Arjun Gowda turns ambulance driver

Kannada actor Arjun Gowda turns into an ambulance driver during the COVID-19 crisis. The actor has been helping the people of Karnataka by taking his ambulance to places and reaching for their aid on time. Arjun shared a few photos on his Instagram page and during an interaction, he revealed that he has been on the road for the past few days. Moreover, Gowda has been helping people with the assistance of final rites.

Arjun told The Times of India, "I've been on the road for a couple of days and I've already helped out around half a dozen people with assistance for final rites. We want to ensure that we help out anyone in need irrespective of where they come from or what religion they practice."

The actor added, "I'm also ready to travel across town for help. I ended up taking someone who lives in Kengeri all the way to Whitefield to get them admitted to the hospital. I plan on continuing with this help for the next couple of months as the current situation is quite back and I want to do my bit for people in whatever little way that I can."

Arjun started this gesture with a project named Project Smile Trust.

Meanwhile, on the work front, the actor is known for his roles in popular films namely Yuvarathnaa, Odeya, Rustum and Aa Drushya.
