Abhay Deol reveals his new look

Actor Abhay Deol has had a busy week. For starters, Abhay had a tough time retrieving his Facebook account and then he was apparently contemplating whether or not to succumb to present day demands and reveal his look from his upcoming Hollywood film. A source close to the actor says that Abhay’s team was in the process of removing other fake accounts on his name on the social networking site and that’s when the mix up took place and it left Abhay slightly panic-striken. “While his team was reporting other fakes, someone reported Abhay’s original account as a fake, as a result of which it was blocked! Then Abhay got in touch with the Facebook authorities to explain the situation to them. He even had to send across his passport for verification, after which his account was re-activated,” says the source in the know. That apart, the source says that Abhay’s second dilemma was whether or not to succumb to popular marketing gimmicks by revealing his ‘look’ in Singularity. “Those who know Abhay, will vouch that he believes that the movie will do all the talking and he refrains from publicising any of his films more than a certain extent. But it looks like he’s bowing to the order of the day now,” says the source. So, Abhay finally put up a picture of himself, holding up his cell phone, and on the screen is his look in the Hollywood film. “Long hair and a flowy beard, it’s a look he’s not attempted before. In fact, he’s experimenting with his look more than ever before. Right after Singularity, he chopped of his locks and started sporting a clean-shaven look, with a neat moustache for another Bollywood film. Since he’s playing diverse characters, he finally came to the decision that probably revealing his look would indeed help his fans know what exactly he’s up to in each film. He’s also happy with the response to the picture,” says the source who helped Abhay with his social networking page.
