After doing a recce in Meerut for his upcoming film, Aanand L Rai and his team have recreated the city in Mumbai's Filmcity. Mumbai Mirror reports that they have even recreated the famous Clock Tower aka Ghanta Ghar of Meerut.
The upcoming film stars Shah Rukh Khan, who will be playing a dwarf for the first time. A source is quoted saying, "Since Shah Rukh is playing a dwarf, some VFX technicalities are involved, which will be difficult to execute to outdoors in the midst of crowds. So Aanand thought of shooting on a set in a controlled location to facilitate the process. The film is expected to roll by the end of this month."
